Dr. Arnold Keiles is a native Californian and has been
practicing general dentistry in Palo Alto for 30 years.
Dr. Keiles received his Bachelors of Science from the
University of Oregon and his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry
from the University of Pennsylvania. After serving in
the Army for three years in Germany, he returned here
to Palo Alto.
Dr. Keiles and Palo Alto Dental Associates utilize the
latest techniques in cosmetic dentistry called Smile Design.
Dr. Keiles has trained with some of the top clinicians
in the field to master this technique. Dr. Keiles is excited
about the tremendous response from his patients. He is
able to restore teeth to their natural strength and beauty
in as little as two visits.
Dr. Keiles is the founder of ON-SITE Dental Care, one
of the nation's most innovative and high tech dental companies.
ON-SITE provides quality dental care to over 40 corporations
and universities around the Silicon Valley including:
Cisco, Genentech, Oracle, and Stanford University. He
is proud that the ON-SITE Dental Care Foundation provides
care to at-risk children around the Bay Area.
Dr. Keiles is currently a member of the American Dental
Association, the California Dental Association,
the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, the American
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Palo Alto
Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Keiles is also board certified in the field of Conscious Sedation dentistry.
Dr. Keiles and his wife Carol live in Cupertino and enjoy
travel, golf, skiing, and Bay Area Sports.
Dr. Michaels graduated from dental school in 1975, with
honors, and has practiced dentistry for the past 25 years.
He is a member of the College of Physicians & Surgeons
Alumni Assoication, the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society,
the California Dental Association, and the American
Dental Association.
Inspired by his patient's cosmetic dental needs, Dr. Michaels
invented, developed, and commercialized unique tooth polishing
and whitening systems for personal use.
When Dr. Michaels is not in the dental office he is usually
cycling in the mountains, playing piano with his daughter,
and enjoying time with his family.

Dr. Hakim is a native of Iran where she practiced dentistry for two years before coming to the United States. Here, she joined the International Dentist Program at UCSF School of Dentistry in San Francisco. This is a two year program at the Buchanan and Parnassus Clinics and requires proficiency in all aspects of clinical and laboratory work in the field of dentistry.
Dr. Hakim received her Invisalign certification in December 2005. Since then, she has completed many Invisalign (invisible orthodontics) cases successfully. And, her patients love the results.
Dr. Hakim has done volunteer work for homeless patients at the UCSF Community Dental Clinic. In her spare time, she is an active member of charity and fundraising events that benefit orphans and underprivileged students. She believes in giving back to her new community.
Mahsa likes classical singing, the outdoors and frequent trips to Lake Tahoe. She loves to get together with family and friends. On her days off, she takes voice lessons and yoga.
